牛屋江戶八 Gyuuyaedohachi
Today I went to Gyuuyaedohachi for sukiyaki. They offered wide ranges of Sukiyaki course from local beef, Australian Wagyu to Japanese Wagyu. The price is standard and not too expensive. And they also provide Chinese and English menu with photos, so it is easier for us to choose.
Today we tried Hokkaido beef A4 grade 5980 yen $418 hkd and Kokutai san (Hokkaido beef F1-B3 grade ) course 4980 yen $348hkd.
Each set comes with appetizers, wagyu beef, veggie, rice , soup and dessert.
The Hokkaido A4 grade beef is so good!!! It is really tender and rich in taste, it got right amount of fat that it almosts melt to the mouth! It is so soft and I don’t even need to chew a lot at all! Plus the plus is rather generous, if I eat the same amount and quality of beef in hk, it might costs over a thousand, while here is only $418 hkd.
Compared to the A4 grade beef, the F1-B3 beef is still good. It is really soft and with less marbling. But it got a strong taste of beef and it is fat enough to get a sense of Wagyu. Moreover , the sukiyaki sauce here is not too sweet, it is rich and mild. The best of all, the dessert is Hokkaido melon!! It is really juicy and sweet like candies! I really enjoy...
Read moreWe really enjoyed our time here from start to finish. Parking is available right next to the restaurant, which makes it very convenient. The staff were super nice and welcoming, guiding us with everything from seating to showing us how to cook the sukiyaki properly. Their attentiveness made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The restaurant has a cozy, traditional Japanese atmosphere that adds to the charm of dining here. We chose the sukiyaki Japanese beef all-you-can-eat, and it was absolutely superb. The beef was tender, flavorful, and high quality—we enjoyed every single bite. Portions were generous, and service was quick. A fantastic place for anyone who loves Japanese beef and wants to experience...
Read moreLots of private rooms available. Ideal for groups and kids who wants to have privacy. Food wise it is pretty good value for the all-you-can-eat shabu shabu and/or sukiyaki. We had the Japanese beef set sukiyaki and the beef quality was very good. Don’t think it was graded quality wagyu but from the marble on the beef you can tell is it very high quality and very fatty LOL. Still personally I would prefer to have wagyu beef grilled coz after a few plates the sukiyaki turned into a pot of grease... overall recommended for a casual/easy beef place but personally I prefer places that are more local and cozy. This place can feel a bit touristy with many...
