Chops — Restaurant in Sasebo

I honestly wasn't expecting the food to be good because it was on base; I was expecting a lackluster experience. This place exceeded my expectations! My husband and I went on a Saturday evening and ordered about 5 things including 2 entrees. Our price was around $42 and some change. The food was seasoned, fresh, and tasty! The atmosphere was nice, and the service was excellent. I was impressed at how fresh my vegetables were on my salad, and how well cooked they were with my entree. No complaints, go for yourself, with friends, or a date night; you won't be disappointed.

This is a 5 star on base and all around very good. They put a lot of effort into the specials and the Sunday brunch is outstanding. Great for lunch done in or call for take out.
