22 years. 2001 seems so long ago and yet, it's still fresh in my memory. Skinny's was prolly the only place where I'd get dinner (either dine-in or takeout) actually out in town. I think the only place I ate at equally was the McDonald's on base.
His chicken fried rice to this day remains one of the best things I've ever eaten, and any time I think about my time in Sasebo, it's one of the first things I think of. Read moreI have been to Skinny's atleast 12 times and everytime you enter he immediately notices you and asks you what you would like to order. When you order the food it takes no more than 5-10 minutes depending on how many orders he gets at once ( he is one man after all). The food is absolutely without a doubt some of the best fresh made food I have had in Japan so far. The sandwiches,Chicken, Giyoza, and his Yakisoba is the best.
Skinny's will always be near and dear to alot of people who visit and live in japan and should be 10/5 stars...
