As far as we could tell (language was a barrier that was partially breached using Google Translate), there wasn't a menu as such. We ate what we were served. And what we were served was spectacular: Tuna, octopus, surface clam, sea squirt .. I cannot profess to have eaten lots of sushi in lots of places around Japan. But I have had good sushi, and this was the best I have ever had. The place is slightly more expensive than other places in Sendai, but that is as it should be. I would highly recommend...

Due to the language barrier, I didn't realize how high end it was and we ordered the chef's special and can definitely say it was the best sushi we've ever had. We used Google translate with the woman chef to read the menu and to communicate with staff. The staff have wonderful, kind, entertaining personalities and we left so grateful our dining experience was so special and Onishi! Thank you again to the delightful people who treated us so well.
