Fukuei Coffee — Restaurant in Sendai

I feel blessed that I came across Fukuei Coffee by chance when I was in Sendai last April.

The store manager was very friendly and introduced his coffee to me. I got one cup to go and a few drip bags to take home. I am a coffee lover and fancy dark roast coffee beans in particular. There are a few brands in Japan who are doing very well but what Fukuei attracts me the most are their high quality and varieties in blended coffee (generic blend, chocolate blend, rich blend, bitter blend, etc.) and its friendly price point. You can choose your coffee beans, even for drinks like cappuccinos and lattes. I asked for a recommendation, and got to try the “SAKE FUNKY” blend, which was unique and had an unmistakeable sake fragrance. It was great in the cappuccino. The milk froth was also rich and wonderful. Navigating the S-PAL buildings to get here was confusing to me but that may be because I’m only visiting.
