Taikichi Nakakecho Main Store — Restaurant in Sendai

Decided to try this famous taiyaki shop and ordered the zunda flavour. There is a que for the zunda ones and alot of young locals seems to like this shop. We waited around 15 minutes for our zunda taiyaki and its well worth the wait. Eating a hot taiyaki by the street on a cold cold day, just amazing. The taiyaki is not too sweet, plenty of edamame flavours. The taiyaki is crispy on the outside and abit mochi mochi on the inside. I try to stop by here whenever I’m in Sendai. There’s nothing better than a hot, fresh taiyaki as a snack or dessert—especially as winter is coming!
