I can't recommend this place enough! The taste of the beef tongue is absolutely amazing, and the charcoal grilling technique really elevates the flavors. Each bite was tender and packed with a smoky richness that left me wanting more. This meal ranks among the top 3 of all the meals I enjoyed during my 20 days in Japan, which is saying a lot considering the incredible food I had throughout my travels.

I have some time to visit Sendai and they said you should try its signature dish which is Gyutan aka grilled beef tongue. This is a perfect location right next to the subway entrance for someone is switching or waiting for their drive. I came on before the rush hour so there was no wait at all (lucky me). First off, if you're thinking about coming here be prepared to come at least an hour before you'd like to eat. Grab a number from their little machine in front of the door. You can scan the QR code to see how many people/groups are ahead of you. If you use the LINE messaging app their bot account can tell you when there are only a few groups left ahead.

They opened at 10:00, got my ticket around 10:40ish and was seated around 11:50. Some people came around 11:30 and they were to told they'd have to wait roughly 2-3hours.
