知床朝市 大成丸 — Restaurant in Shari

Very homey, what a great day to end our Hokkaido trip :-) the shop appeared to be closed with “no meal sign” (something along that line), but thankfully uncle came out to ask us and so the shop is actually open. So for future customers, you can knock the door to check if the chef is around. Hospitality is 11/10!!! Also, the price is damn worth for the quality and quantity of food you’re receiving. We ordered A LOT of food! 😇

To the chef, if you see this, we apologise for failing to spend more time with you as we needed to rush off elsewhere. You are so sweet nonetheless! 🥰🥰

The owner has a good vibe. I am a fan of his:) In addition to the atmosphere of the restaurant, he cooked the scallops on the spot and they were delicious.

He introduces what is available at the time, so what you can eat is different depending on the time of year you go. I want to go there...

The place feels like home. Owner was very friendly, generous, helpful and cooked a delicious dinner for me. I had Sashimi and grilled fish with rice ( realized in the middle that I didn't take a photo ) all prepared in front of me, only for ¥2150....
