the building is just superb for a cafe/desert place. We were all so impressed by it.

I had a Sakura wagashi and a ginger ale (total ¥850 April 2025). Wagashi is so so, ginger ale is goooooood (that’s so many O)

I deduct a star because the staff asked us to leave our backpacks at the door because she didn’t want us to potentially damage or mess up the place I guess. But sure I get it, it is a...

Beauuuutiful cafe in the county side. Spacious tatami mat rooms, excellent matcha icecream, and a relaxing vibe. Would definitely come here again to try their matcha ice cream or just lounge around on the tatami mats. Regular seating is available as well for anyone who struggles with sitting on tatami mats...

The entrance is a little bit hidden but the staff is very welcoming. There are tatami Matt's and you take off your shoes and enter from the hall to the right. The Wagashi sweets are very delicious. If you like, you can even buy...

「夏の雲」を注文しました。その名が示すとおり、まるで青空に浮かぶ雲のよう…一体どのような味なのでしょうか？あ、ほどよく甘くもっちりとした食べ心地です。ほんのりとあずきの風味も漂ってきますね。添えた「オリジナルブレンドコーヒー」はすっきりと香ばしく、バランスの取れた中煎りあたりのもの☕️。とても美味しくて、その余韻と風鈴の音が入り混じり、このカフェの世界観にしっとりと浸れました🎐。 そう、このカフェは和の風情あふれる印象的な建物なのです。木の香る玄関を抜けると畳の間が何部屋も連なり、広々としているぶん、なかなかスタッフに出会えないほど。大きな窓から美しい庭園を眺めつつ、そよ風を感じていると、灼熱の真夏の昼下がりなのに不思議と心地良い気分です。みんなスイーツを求めて友達と来てる感じでした🍧。 座布団に座る低いテーブル席が多いですが、通常のテーブル席も用意されています。支払いは現金のみ。清潔感は申し分なく、トイレは快適な洋式タイプでした。 四万十町の「古民家カフェ 半平」で、昔の日本の夏休みのような世界観に浸ることができました🏞️。古民家カフェの中でもここは本格派。特に庭園の美しさは一見の価値ありです。
