The restaurant staff was friendly and provided good service. English menus are available, but the Japanese menu has more options than the English menu. The portions were good and everyone on our party was very full and over ate. :-)
I recommend the sashimi which was very fresh and delicious varieties of local fish. The wakami (seaweed) salada is a wonderful taste of the ocean. The sashimi was rather chewy and had little taste. The croquets that my friend ordered tasted like they came straight from the freezer. While for the golden eye fish that was scrumptious and is seen as a delicacy for Shimoda which we enjoyed. We ordered the four main dishes they have for lunch and they all were absolutely amazing. However one of them was outstanding from the others which was the fish is sweet soy sauce.
