Don't be put off by the lingering odor of old cigarettes and small size of the place. This is a pretty popular stop for Japanese as well as locals.
For good reason.
Food is pretty great, the atmosphere is pretty chill and easy going (one cook and server, so don't come here in a rush!).
Just don't try to split the bill and everyone will be in good spirits.
The cheesecake is pretty much THE reason most people come here, and that makes sense since it's pretty great.
Protip: if you order the bakes chocolate cheesecake and don't like the tangy taste on your first bite, it's just a glaze that easily comes off, the rest is great, though!
