The portions hmm imagine the usual size and make it to be like a kids meal version that is what you get. You’re charged a toppings fee or side dish fee whatever you wanna call it of around 1k plus one drink per person that you must order and mind you a 250ml glass of coke i presume, not sure about the ml, costs around 325yen if i remember correctly which is way overpriced considering the normal price plus that is one of the cheapest drinks available btw water is not on the menu. So, even if you go alone by just sitting at a table you are already charged around 1400yen without ordering any dish and even with all of that it would’ve been fine if only the food tasted great but sorry to say that it was mediocre at best which is a compliment in and of itself and they most definitely use normal nongshim packet ramen as depicted by their menu and you can definitely taste it. They are basically selling dishes disguised as korean food to gullible Japanese and tourists that have never tried authentic korean food laced with cheap tricks such as a cheaper looking menu outside on a board but adding extra fees for toppings and a one drink per person must-have policy at that point might as well add a once you step-in you can’t leave policy. If you were down to your last 3k yen and you came here, you would die of hunger because of the portions they serve, better off eating something at a supermarket or convenience store like a hotpot or fish cakes from samyang to experience korean taste. P.S. did i mention the metal chopsticks were dirty, either that or...
Read moreThe place feels like a Korean restaurant, but the portion sizes are smaller. The staff, except for one older guy (the owner?) did not feel welcoming (towards foreigners?) and you have to order via a QR code.
The staff automatically brought banchan to the table when I sat down, and I ordered a beef gimpap from the menu, which was small but good. When I asked for water later, I got told I had to order a drink instead. Pretty surprising at this point as I was already halfway through my dinner, so I refused. Later, when I went to pay, I also found out that banchan is, in fact, not included in the price, unlike in Korea.
Overall, the food is good, but too small to justify the price, the staff is not friendly and there's too many unexpected additional costs that do not appear when you first order (banchan, a drink) for me to recommend this place.
I'm used to the pricing in Japan being transparent, unlike here, so until the real costs appear on the menu, printed and QR code, I give one star for the...
