Sangam — Restaurant in Takasaki

Great place to visit. Only been there for dinner and their decobonight. Sangam offers really savory food with a unique experience. Decked in traditional and cultural artifacts, Sangam is a great place to enjoy delicious food and good music if you catch them on a good night. Arrived for lunch around 12:30. There were only a couple people in the restaurant but we were told to wait for 30 minutes outside!?!? We weren't even invited to sit at the available counter and have a coffee while we wait.

After waiting 45 minutes and being ignored we left.

Terrible...

用事で妻と高崎駅近くに行く途中で、久しぶりにタイ料理屋さんに入ってみました。 外観はあまりタイ料理屋さんぽくはありませんが、ちょっとおしゃれな雰囲気。店内もちょっと変わった感じで、2人テーブルが2つ、4人と6人テーブルが1つずつ、それに二人用？カンター席が2つです。 13時前でしたが、すんなり入店しカウンター席に。 ランチメニューから二人ともAセット（10品目のヤムウンセンサラダ+ドリンク+メイン料理1品）にし、私はグリーンカレーとトマトチーズの合盛りカレーとパインラッシーに、妻はマッタイ(パッタイ？)とジンジャーラッシーで注文。

ヤムウンセンサラダは少なかったものの味はまずまずまず。トマトチーズカレーも悪くはありません。グリーンカレーと妻の頼んだマッタイは結構美味しいです。一番はさすがジンジャエール専門店だけあってジンジャーラッシーで絶品です。

全体的に本場の味を日本風にした感じで結構美味しいと思います。ただバンコク駐在の経験がある私は、本場タイのガツンと来る味が良かったので、ちょっと物足りず☆4つとさせて頂きました。
