We were really excited to try this place — the cute kitten statue outside and the promise of real spicy food (which is rare in Japan!) totally drew us in. The staff was friendly, and we were even told that the highest spice level is actually spicy, which got us even more excited.
Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to our expectations. While the spice level was definitely there, the dish itself lacked depth of flavor — it was just heat, without much taste behind it. It was a bit disappointing, especially after waiting 30 minutes for our dishes. The portion of soup also felt a small, and compared to the photos, we noticed some missing toppings — like the peanuts.
