Tokyo Food Exploration No. 166📍Ethiopian Cuisine in Toritsu-Daigaku

I came all the way from Osaka to eat Ethiopian food in Tokyo and let me tell you guys, it was so much worth it. By entering I was greeted by the friendly chef who made sure I had the best experience ever, the food itself was heavenly, perfectly seasoned and full of flavour, deep rich lamb with spinach cooked in ghee was for sure my favourite. This could easily serve 2 although I finished everything. The injera itself is super light, sweet and easy to eat! It feels so good to be able to enjoy food with your hands. Overall this place has won my heart, chef has truly mastered his cuisine to a high level and a perfect touch. Please do yourself a favour and try this food if you have the opportunity. Food: 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Service 5/5 Price: $$

Absolutely delighted coming to this little gem. The food is unbelievably delicious It has authentic ingredients without compromise, and large portion, that i had to take out for a second meal. The chef has incredible knowledge of spices and friendly to talk to The staff and the chef were incredibly sweet and gracious. I could tell they love what they were doing. The ambience was cosy, warming and welcoming. I took the time to write the review, because coming here was the best choice i made this evening. The restaurant had vegan and vegetarian options.

What a fantastic restaurant! We went with a family group including a toddler and a newborn baby. The staff were outgoing and friendly. The menu has an interesting variety of food from several countries. My in-laws shared the paella, which requires a little longer to wait for but they made sure we were aware of this as we ordered. I enjoyed a delicious vegetarian lasagna whilst my husband, the meat lover, spoke highly of his rack of lamb. They offered to put together a meal for my daughter based upon anything on the menu that we fancied, or offered to make her something off menu, such as an omelette. Pricing is fair and the bar tender made sure to serve the beers without a large head as he was aware this isn't how westerners like their beer. Nice touch! The atmosphere could benefit from some background music but others was excellent. We will be returning many...

Finally got to try this spot after walking by it so many times. The vibe was quiet because we came on a rainy weekday evening. The owner greeted us, that night he was also the chef. He had a few takeout orders but we were the only dine in table.

Ordered the pork, falafel and eggplant lasagna. The sakura pork was super tasty, my wife thought it was too fatty but I liked it. I also recommend the falafel, very crispy.

They say the Ethiopian meal is good but I think you need to call ahead for that one. Overall tasty food, nice relaxed vibe, owner is friendly, speaks English.
