This burger joint is very popular in Tokyo and has a huge following, especially with expats. I Perhaps it’s because the restaurant is located right next to a nice park, perhaps it’s because you can bring your dog or pet into the restaurant, I don’t exactly know, but it’s got a huge fan base. I’ve used to come here from time to time when I’m in the area, and it just so happened that I was in the neighborhood so I decided to stop by. It’s been perhaps half a year since I last visited. The strange thing about this place is that sometimes it’s a hit or miss, the burgers are either great, or it can be a bit so-so. There is usually a wait here. We got here around 12:30, and wait for about 45min before getting our seat. I got my Cheeseburger and my partner ordered Patty melt. Food came out quickly after we sat down. I’m usually quite happy with the burger here, but this time around, the patty was a bit dry and tasted very flat. The buns were warm and toasted perfectly, the lettuce was crisp, everything was just perfect except the beef patty. It was a quite disappointing given the 45min wait time. It is usually quite good here, but this time it was a bit of a miss. I think there are better and more consistent burger joints in Tokyo. But regardless, it’s in a great neighborhood, you will always have a good time here!

This was a highly touted American style burger restaurant, and the product lives up to the hype. To be honest, I didn’t find anything special about the food here, coming from the U.S., but I can see how an expat who has been living in Japan for quite some time and is craving American burgers would be drawn to this place. I tried the avocado mushroom cheeseburger and the bacon cheeseburger. Both were good and came with a side of thick cut fries. The meat patty was a bit small compared to American standards, but I liked how they were very generous with the lettuce. Service was good, and the restaurant allows dogs inside. There were also board games available if you wanted to play. Prices are quite high, but that is to be expected for Western food in Japan.

Honestly this is the best place for a night out with friends. Food is amazing, the atmosphere is one of the best out there. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. This is the spot to go when you are in the Yoyogi area. One thing you can do is get takeout and enjoy a nice picnic at the park. Although the prices are slightly higher than people expect, it is worth it. This is my favorite place to go!

Good but the burger pate is to thin. Recommend to get double to get the meaty flavor. The burger was nice but not well balanced as the meat was lost in the salsa, Avocado, and other sauces! Fried chicken was good but no sauces to go with it. Has to add S&P to get the fried chicken flavors going. Good location. Great service and nice interior.

Amazing restaurant with an even better burger. This little restaurant has a cozy, American feel inside. Great choice of burgers to be had with sides also. The burger itself was amazing. Probably one of the best I’ve had in Tokyo. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Onion rings also were phenomenal. Can’t recommend this place enough!

We had an incredible experience at Arms! Our waitress and the staff were so friendly and kind. They were very patient me trying to converse in Japanese. Our dog was allowed inside the restaurant and got lots of attention! The food was perfect. The decor has a great vintage feel. Couldn’t ask for a better restaurant!
