Asian Dinning New Juntara & Bar — Restaurant in Tokyo

Nice medium-sized Nepali place, but quite quiet right now. Friendly and fast service, and a good value for the money. The curry was just on the thick side and the naan was just slightly on the sweet side, but everything was quite delicious. Could have had a refill on the naan. The spice was strong, not on the Japanese scale. No Wi-Fi. More customers were arriving after a while. Overall rating is a strong four stars. Only thing not to my taste was the pre-sweetened coffee. Might be a sumo fan, considering that he came during the Chiyonofuji time and he's just playing a bansuke.

This is an addendum since I can't reply directly to the owner's comment. The only negative thing in my review was the sweet coffee, and that certainly isn't worth an apology. His reply actually makes me worried about slack time from the Covid-19 crisis. I love dining out, but a lot of restaurant owners have too few customers and too much time to look at reviews because of Covid-19. My hypothesis is that many restaurants must double or quadruple their prices to stay...

以前はよく通っていました。3年振りの訪問です。

王子神谷駅から徒歩1分の好立地。 この日は13時半過ぎに訪問。 先客は1人とまったりした雰囲気です。 メニュー豊富で悩みましたが「チーズナンセット」を注文。1,250円です。 カレーの辛さが選べるので4辛を希望。

注文から程なくしてスープとサラダが配膳。 スープを飲みつつ待つ事5分程でカレーとナンが配膳です。

第一印象はチーズナンが写真と比べて随分とボリューム不足。これにはがっかり。 しかし、食べ進めていくに連れ折り重なった事に気づきました。 食べて感じましたがこれは中々のボリュームだぞ。

バターチキンカレーは正直に言います。 昔に比べて劣化してます。 旨み、コクが無いというか、味が薄い。 トロミも記憶より無くサラサラスープ気味。 水で薄めたんじゃないかって思います。 チーズナンの味で何とか食べきれましたが残念な一皿でした。
