Azabu Ramen — Restaurant in Tokyo

Went in to try this ramen spot, as it is one of the few that I had yet to experience in our local neighborhood. Didnt really know what type of ramen we were ordering via the vending machine, but that's more our lack of Japanese language skills and not the fault of the restaurant. The ramen was passable, but it wouldnt be my first choice, personally. It is mostly bar seating, with 2 or 3 tables in the back. AFURI will likely be one of my go to spots for ramen because of it's proximity and the light, shio, yuzu chicken broth that leaves me satiated. You order from a machine, which includes photos for those of us who can't quite read Japanese yet.

I chose a smaller bowl of ramen. The noodles were cooked with the right amount of firmness for my taste and the pork slice was flavorful. Definitely hit the spot on a cold evening.

Ordered shoyu ramen. Soup and noodles (especially noodles) are too salty for me. Soup 3/5: very good fish and seaweed flavor in it, but salty.
