Bar JEST — Restaurant in Tokyo

The service was disappointing. Four of us went to this bar and had to wait over 30 minutes for our drinks. When they finally arrived, only three were served—and we were casually told that the fourth drink was no longer available. Why couldn’t they tell us that earlier? I ordered a replacement drink, but even after 10 more minutes, it still didn’t arrive. I told the staff please canceled my drink and get me the check and right after, the drink came… they said it was on the house but I was already so pissed off. The staff were definitely unhelpful throughout. I heard good things about the bar before and my friend was playing there the night but It was a very frustrating experience, and I probably will...

This is one of the best bars I have ever been to. The cocktails are always different from the average cocktail. The mixologist seems to care deeply about giving the customers cocktails with a unique twist or flavour to them. I am more big on whiskey and I particular was impressed by the bartender's recommendation "Iwai". It was absolutely lovely. The ambience in this place is always fantastic and when I finish work early, I always try to pop in. Finally the bartender speaks very good English, so if you are worried about using Japanese, no problems at all. I thoroughly recommend this bar!!! This place is amazing if you are looking for premium-quality cocktails and drinks. The ambience is very similar to old-timey bars in America.

The owner is very friendly and can speak English, which was is helpful if your Japanese is lacking. He made delicious high balls for me and my wife along with a very tasty and strong Coffee with Baileys.
