The coffee itself is top-tier. You can tell Koji knows his craft—each cup is brewed to perfection, with options for various types of milk (including non-dairy alternatives) and a selection of paninis that are absolutely delicious and pair perfectly with your drink.

What makes this café truly special, though, is Koji himself. He’s not just a skilled barista—he’s also a wonderful conversationalist: warm, respectful, and genuinely passionate about what he does. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, he makes everyone feel welcome.

Great coffee in a peaceful residential area, you'll have to walk a bit (either from Sugamo on the Yamanote line, or one of the nearby sakura tram stops which are closer) to get there. There are few seats in the store, but there's a park nearby where you can sit and enjoy your coffee as well.

It wasn't busy when I visited. The owner is extremely friendly and is happy to chat about the area, his experiences and just about anything under the sun (he's fluent in English). He recommended a hazelnut latte and it was just sweet enough while still allowing the natural flavor of the coffee to come through.

It’s a little off the beaten path, but Koji, the owner, makes an amazing cup of coffee! He also speaks excellent English if you don’t know much Japanese. Defiantly worth the walk. It’s a small shop with great atmosphere and excellent service from Koji. He even gave us some recommendations for cool places to check out. He also has almond milk for those with the need for lactose-free. We had some sandwiches with our coffee and recommend getting the organic rye bread. All in all, this place is fantastic!
