This place is small but nice, something special between a very Japanese atmosphere and something which the Japanese are imagining about (perhaps) Paris or some town in Italy. The food is not "pure original", yet it has a touch of the good things about the Japanese meticolous way to adapt and improve. I also appreciated how Japanese wine has improved and were much satisfied with the Hojo brand of red wine from Tottori prefecture. It's not a wine that would win a competition but definitely much better than a so-là-là French or cheap Italian wine. Absolutely delicious. Restaurant did not have an English menu and I asked the staff to serve me whatever they think was delicious. It did not disappoint. Importantly, it was very affordable! Not forgetting to mention that the restaurant had a charming ambience. Please keep up the good work!

【葡庵 Bu-an】 ここに来ればみんなが陽気に！ •ワインがメインのダイニングバー。手作りリキュールも外せない。 •美味い酒、美味い料理、明るい雰囲気。海外旅行に来た時こんな気分。 ============================ 日本各地の赤・白ワイン 500〜1000円程 煮込まないラタトゥイユ 390円 などなど美味しいものばかり！ ============================ 【お店の場所や雰囲気】 高円寺駅北口から歩いて3分。 一瞬、ん？葡萄？と思いきや葡庵（Bu-an）でした。入口付近に植物の植木がたくさん。 ダイニングバーって敷居が高くてちょっと入りにくいって思ってましたが、ここはそんな感じゃない。何がそうさせるのか。。。 葡庵もお洒落、かなりお洒落なのだけれど 誰でもwelcomeなオーラがお店の外まで溢れ出ていました。 【食べた飲んだ感想】 うまいっっ！！ 多くの種類から選べるワイン。産地に想いを馳せながら一口。 そしてこだわりの料理。ピザ、キッシュ、アヒージョ、ラタトゥイユなど比較的身近なものが葡庵ならではのメニューになっています。厨房のレベルの高さを感じつつ、これがお洒落なんだけど入りやすいお店を作っているのかな？ 店員さんは明るくハツラツで他のお客さんも笑顔で食事を楽しいひと時を過ごしていました。幸せでした。 また伺います。 ごちそうさまでした！非常感謝！

I just enjoyed a bottle of their selection of natural wine, which was fantastic, so I can't speak to the food. But the welcome was really warm and friendly. Highly recommend the wine!
