A new Chinese in Eifukucho that’s actually a branch of a small chain. The service was excellent and the place is clean, new with a very nice ambience and lighting. Prices are cheap and delivery is fast. I ordered the signature sweet and sour pork and was really disappointed of the meat quality. It was pretty stringy and a bit hard. “Chinese” restaurants like this can be found all over Japan, but C-Men-Han offers a nice variety of dishes, very reasonably priced, and great service. Just a few meters from Eifuku Station on the Keio Inokashira line. Have lunch walk along the shopping street, then head over to one of the best shrines in Tokyo, Hachiman Jingu. 路面店かと思ったら、地下店舗だった。 フリーWifiも設置している。 検索すると他に池尻大橋や溝ノ口マルイに支店があり、青山餃子房のような新興のフランチャイズであるようだ。 店内をみわたしたところ、堀座卓の座敷があったり、居酒屋の居抜きであることは明らかだ。 しかし、池袋のガチ中華のようにゴテゴテと四川の田舎のような短冊やらヌードの彫刻やら余計な飾り立てはいらない。 料理が美味しければいいのだ。 まだ１食しかしていないが、値段設定といい、ご飯おかわり自由など、あの初台・西安餃子と比べると、実に安心な店だ。 中華風オムライスを注文したが、中国醤油の黒酢タレチャーハンがやけに美味しい。 卵のかけ方も洋食店に負けないふわとろ技を駆使している。 ただ少し甘いかな、ということでテーブル備え付けの唐辛子入り辣油をタップリかけて味変した。 したがってこれも得点だ。 客が料理の味を自由に決めさせてくれるわけで満足感がさらに上がる。 デザートは自家製メロンミルク寒天。 定期的に変えているそうだ。 青山餃子房とともに自分行きつけの中華料理店がで...
