The interior is quite nice, as is the service.
What I want to address is the pizza.
There was another reviewer here who complained to the shop that her pizza was too charred.... however, this is the traditonal Italian way, and it adds some sophistication with some bitterness.
I don't know if it is because the majority of Japanese were raised on Pizza Hut and Dominos, but in any case from a traditional Italian cooking view my pizza was very undercooked, and there were no leopard pattern spots on the bottom of the dough, and only a little char on the crust.
It was too doughy, and not crisp enough.
...Italian pizza is not thick and mochi mochi like Dominos and Pizza Hut, as my pizza was.
I am sure the Italian chef understands my words.
Considering his position, it may well be that he has to cater to rich wealthy older suburban Japanese of Suginami who are not as sophisticated like Minato-ku, as the patron responsible for the beautiful interior no doubt expects a good return on his investment.

Appetizers were ok as expected. The clam base was a little salty for the baguette to be sitting in there.
Seafood pasta was only alright.
Margarita pizza was good but the tomato prosciutto pizza was a little too wet. I think they may have used the wrong kind of tomatoes. Dough was perfect for both pizzas.
Service- one guy knows what he’s doing and everyone else seem like they didn’t get enough training. Almost every person working there seem to hate their life.
Again, a restaurant with good food but no soul. It was a weird dining experience because it’s SO obvious that you can tell this place lost its glory. I feel so bad but this is...
