Small Indian restaurant with tasty food and fair prices. The wait time for the food was reasonable and the owner spoke pretty good English. The plain naan was hand pulled and everyone in my party who ordered it really enjoyed it. The naan bread is not vegan, but the roti is. Unfortunately, they did not have the roti option when I tried to order it. Additionally, there were three vegan entree options and a couple of vegan appetizers, including samosas, on the menu. I ordered the samosas and found it a little weird that they came with ketchup to dip them in. I’m not sure if this restaurant always serves the samosas with ketchup or if they saw we were American and figured we’d want some? Either way, I’ve never been offered ketchup with a samosa before and I didn’t use it. Lastly, the rice that came with the meal was Japanese short grain rice. I would have expected basmati rice to come with the Indian food. However, I can’t really knock them for this because the restaurant is in Japan and either it may be difficult/expensive to source basmati rice, or potentially there have been complaints from customers who prefer Japanese rice. Overall not the best Indian food I’ve had, but a good experience and I...
Read moreCash only when we went for dinner FYI. Ordered the bbq dinner set with butter chicken and got a hot chai tea for the drink. The tandoori chicken was bomb but the seekh kebab was sub par, not the absolute worst I’ve had, but definitely not the best (I think they put nira or something else that’s a strong green veg in it that kinda disrupts the flavor). Butter chicken was good, very creamy and a big portion so I was able to eat all of my naan with it and still had some curry left over. The menu is a bit confusing though (there are so many menus on top of that) and if you get a different naan from regular even in the set you’ll be charged 200+ so keep that in mind. I also wasn’t even sure my drink came with the dinner or not because the price seemed a bit off when I went up and paid at...
Read moreThis is the spot for kebab rolls!!! Some of the best flavor I’ve had around the world! I’ve walked by here a few times and wanted to try cause it always smells so good! I stopped in early after a long run with a APPETITE! Ordered 3 of the rolls, the guys in there whipped em up real quick, bagged them all nice and sent me on my way, I was so full after the second one, I put the third one in the fridge and had it the next day (still amazing warmed up) I did all 3 with the garlic sauce, and they had so much flavor and hit the SPOT! Each roll was only 550 Yen, very cheap meal with lots of food! They also gave me water while I waited, simple but a small gesture goes a long ways,...
