Service was excellent and fast, friendly old lady served me and other patrons. I stumbled on this place by accident when I was riding the bus number 11 from Ikebukuro Station to Nakano Broadway. The menu was enticing enough for me to walk 1km from Nakano to here. Ordering is simple using a tablet and although there was no English menu, you can easily translate it using app. I got the mapo tofu set with additional spicy level for ¥790. 安くて美味しい庶民の味方、福しん。 特にタンメンが美味しい。

他の店より若干接客が悪いのは同意。ただしこれはパチンコ屋が近いため、一部の客層が悪いせいもあると思う。 混雑時なので店員に「カウンターでお願いします」と言われた50台くらいのラフな格好のオッサン（おそらくパチンコ帰り）が、店員を無視してテーブル席を一人で独占していた。しかも注文したのは一番安い手もみラーメンのみ。 そのオッサンを２回ほど目撃したので、２回目は「店員がカウンターに座れと言ってるよ」注意したところ、「何で客のお前にそんなこと言われなきゃいけないんだ」と逆切れされた。こういうお客様は神様だと勘違いしている人間は、見ていて痛々しい。

確かに他店より多少ぶっきらぼうな接客だと思うのだが、こういう客の対応をしなければならない店員には同情する。もちろん大半はマナーの良い客なのだが。民度の低いが減れば、接客も改善するかもしれない。

【2025/8】 半年ぶりくらいに来店したが、味が落ちた？ 炒飯550円、お供ラーメン150円、餃子250円を注文。ちなみに餃子は定食とのセットでも単品と同じ価格で、別に安くなるわけではない。

なんか炒飯が美味しくない。味が薄く、炒めが足りないせいか米がパサついている。量が多いので途中で飽きる。福しんの炒飯はもう少し美味しかった記憶があるのだが、材料が変わったのか、その日の料理人がハズレだったのか、半炒飯じゃないのがいけなかったのか。

さすがに日高屋よりはマシだが、値段に対する満足度は餃子の王将の圧勝だな。

もう福しんはタンメンとニラそばだけ注文すればいいのかもしれない。
