First of all I should say that I'm a difficult person in terms of bread (and i mean real bread, not the spongy slices in plastic that you buy in the supermarket) and i will only appreciate it when it's top quality. I had expected that it would be difficult to find good bread in Tokyo... and it was, even in spite of more and more 'French' and 'Danish' bakeries popping up everywhere. But then i discovered Griotte. This is no doubt the BEST bakery in the whole of Tokyo. The croissants, the brownies, the ciabatta's and all the rest... better than most bakeries in Europe.
