On our first day in Japan we decided to just go out for a walk and explore a bit to find food. Things were a bit overwhelming because we don't speak Japanese. Mr. Hung was in his restaurant and started speaking to me in fluent English and he was a breath of fresh air. He is very friendly and full of great information about the area. I had the bahn mi and it was excellent! Such a great unique flavor that I know I'd need more during my stay in this area. We went back to visit Mr. Hung the next day and tried different food and it was AMAZING. I had the pho and my girlfriend had the beef stew. Such amazing flavor and love goes into his food you can immediately tell he is a master of his craft. I plan on visiting his restaurant again before my time in this area is up and I HIGHLY recommend anyone staying in the area to pay this place a visit. You will not be...

The food was great! Growing up I’ve had nothing but Vietnamese food, and this place did not disappoint! The owner was also so kind, as my dad and I were walking by around 9 am and it looked like the store was closed; however, the owner saw us and asked if we were looking for a place to eat. He ended up inviting us in despite opening at 11 am. We both ordered the banh mi and it was delicious. My dad and I both agree that it was some of the best banh mi we’ve ever had. The bread was nice and crisp but still soft and not dry like some other places. We ended up going another day and I got the beef stew with some bread and it was some of the best bo kho I’ve ever had. The flavor was strong and savory and the beef was cooked amazingly. Overall I’d recommend anyone who is nearby to check out this place, I promise it will...

I’ve been wanting to try this place for quite a while but I am unable to catch them before they close on most days I can be in Kamata. Finally got to try today and I’m glad we went a bit out of the way. It’s quite close to Kamata (JR and Tokyu) Station, so it’s quite conveniently located.

The place isn’t too big, seating a maximum of 7 people inside all on counter seats and maybe 1 or 2 people outside the shop on a small table.

Food was superb! Everything was delicious, esp. the banh mi! The menu isn’t so broad but the variety is most definitely good enough. Other than different banh mi and pho, they also have a few options for drinks and appetizers. Will definitely have to visit again and try the other items in the menu.
