It was not that easy to find Spa Nagomi from Haneda so we took a cab. It cost slightly above 1000 yen but it was worth it considering we had 3 of us and luggage.||||The taxi circled near the area, and we saw restaurants, izakayas, ramen stores and lots and lots of pachinko. were we in the right area? the taxi stopped us just on the street, he could not go anymore. From the gps, he indicated the direction in which we were to walk and that we did. Again more restaurants and pachinko and finally a non descript sign of Spa and Hotel. We took the lift up to the 4th floor and we entered into the domain of a sento.||||Registration was easy if you had the necessary booking slips. We were issued with an electronic tag after we submitted our passport for copy and also settled the room rates. This tag will be used for paying for all purchases, vending machine, massages etc.||||we booked 2 rooms. a single room and a family room. single room has beds and a small toilet. family room is futon based and has a bigger toilet and bathing area with personal hot spring bath.||||The hotel allows its guest unlimited access to its hot spring where its water is known to be the beautiful skin water which is all black. the water is good and frankly its so dark you can't see anything past 1 cm. don't worry about whats inside, you can't see it and also you won't feel its dirty. i did not get any rashes or problems with the water. the outdoor area is small and there is no view.||||The changing room is nice with a vending machine, weighing scale and a machine that if you stand on it after putting your coins, allows you to work out those nights you overate. the relaxation rooms are comfortable with tvs and sleeping areas. you will find many japanese business people use that as a stop when they can't go home. whats there not too like, sleeping area and a good bath. they pay about 4000 yen for that.||||There are also rooms you can reserve your private sleeping on the 7th floor. You pay extra for that. But this would be a real good gap if you have an early morning flight to catch and like to save a bit from booking an airport hotel. the 6th floor there is also a bedrock area. we never tried that but it smells nice. hickory wood/mulberry leaves wafting the air.||||there is a restaurant on the 4th floor. we never tried as we went to the neighbouring ramen stores etc for our meals. it was so easy to reach we literally ate out, our 3 nights there.||||the hot spring opens 22hrs. closed at 9am and open at 11 am for cleaning in between. it is a good place to go for a different change if you like to avoid tokyo city but staying in the outskirts of kamata. kamata station is just a 5 mins walk and you will go past a big 4 floors Don Quiote. Pronounced by japanese as Donki-ote.||||I was with my ninon-jin friend, so communication was not a problem, however the staff at the spa, speaks minimal japanese, but tries hard and service is good. you will see the staff and lady ones going into the men's hot spring to check on the water. do not get a shock. its normal. the masseurs are good and strong, and they speak japanese and are koreans.||||i think this is a great place to go for a change or if i arrive late at haneda with no more trains to go. book in advance if you want the rooms. its not easy to get on short notice as they have limited rooms. the private relaxation rooms are a good...

Read moreSpa and Hotel Nagomi ..I went to the spa part only..At 1000 ¥ + for the FIRST hour, this place is more expensive than most onsens around this area. It does have the local black water. The place is tugged in the middle of the block so it is a bit hard to find, with a lift going straight to the fourth floor where it is at. The lady ( at least the one I met )at the front desk speaks English and gladly explained every thing. I read some where there might be some female attendants going around checking temperature of the waters but I did not see any. I paid for only one hour so I had to hurry and get dressed before they charge me for five hours, which is the next charging step. I did not ask how much( considering the first hour was...
