This tiny cafe close to Jindai Temple is a hidden gem.
Coffee was actually pretty good! You get a discount after your first cup of coffee. We tried their latte and caramel macchiato - both really delicious and not like the water-coffee they usually serve in many Japanese cafes.
We also had the Matcha scone. It was a decent size for its price, a little bit on the crumbly side, good but not overpowering matcha flavor. All desserts were homemade.
The owner that runs the restaurant was so sweet and nice! Her son is a coffee roaster and they get all their beans from him. We got their Sumatra beans to go and it was delicious! Not at all bad for 700 yen per 100 grams.
