Went in the morning when they just opened and there were just two locals in the shop who were sorting out their order to be delivered to their home. The shop is clean and inviting, with only one lady manning the shop, she asked us to wait for her for a while as she was occupied so we just waited patiently and perused the souvenir shop opposite. It was worth the wait because the sausages were delicious. She recommended us the spinach cheese, herb and another special which I forgot the name. We took out to have them as snacks at Inokashira Park nearby. Sausages were so juicy and flavorful, our favourite was the spinach cheese. I went there because of a memory from my past. The garlic flavoured Schaschlik tasted better than other similar dishes in Germany. The meat was soft, fried with Care and typical for japanese people, served with passion. My Erdinger didnt took long to give me the Feeling to be Home. Great German Sausage Hotdogs and Leberkaese! The bread is also amazing. Wish they had some more space to sit and enjoy the food, but this place is geared more towards takeout so I recommend grabbing the food with a drink and head to the nearby beautiful Inokashira Park. I regularly stop by here when visiting Kichijoji and will be back...
