Kawasaki Tempura — Restaurant in Tokyo

The food was unbelievable and the service epic. This husband and wife team know how to produce such a highlight quality product and experience. The restaurant is so understated for the talent the chef has. I cannot recommend this place enough and worth the trip outside of Tokyo city center - a great adventure and you will welcome the walk to the train station after dinner. I would recommend asking the chef (owner and his wife - front of the house) for them to chose - you WILL NOT be disappointed. This is place is so much more than tempura - their gratin, their soups their sashimi is of the highest grade and he can tell you where every ingredient comes from. GO HERE...

This restaurant is simply amazing! It's a cozy and intimate spot, and you can tell that it's run with care and attention by a lovely couple. I ordered the Tempura don for lunch, which was priced at ¥990, and it was an absolute delight. 食べログサーフィンで見つけてBMしていたお店、Google Map によると学芸大学駅から14分、武蔵小山駅から16分、つまりは両駅の真ん中くらいの住宅街にあり、2004年にオープンしたとのことでした。

週末のランチ、雨の中、武蔵小山駅からテクテク歩いて訪問、昼12時頃に入店です。 店内はカウンター 8席、テーブル 10席くらいの落ち着いた内装、私はカウンターの一角に居を得ました。
