Kokeshi — Restaurant in Tokyo

I enjoyed this café so so much, it was a beautiful elegant old school style Japanese house converted into a little lovely space for us to enjoy. I really love the old traditional dolls that were neatly placed all over the place, and there are books there to educate yourself too. The owners are more than happy to teach you about the legacy of the dolls and it inspired me to travel up north to learn more. The music was great and the ambience was beautiful, lots of natural light. Obviously the coffee and cake that I ordered matched perfectly with the atmosphere, it was just what I needed. I love the retro Showa feel about this laid back coffee shop. The owner is a great host and she makes a great cup of coffee.
