What a pleasant surprise! I think this is the best cafe I'd been to in Jiyugaoka. I had been going to Jiyugaoka often and even lived in the neighboring Midorigaoka for some time but it was my first time to try this cafe. I got the lunch set which consist of chicken parmesan, ice cream dessert and cafe latte. The chicken was crunchy and the sauce was tasty. I particularly like the bread that comes with the chicken parmesan. It is light and airy, tasty and crunchy! The bread was lightly sprinkled with olive oil that makes it even more delicious. The sauce came with some beans in jt and topped with some veggies. It was a filling volume for me - perfect when I am starving and wants to have a heavy lunch. I was surprised at the ice cream dessert too! The quantity is bigger than any lunch set dessert that I have tried. It seems like a whole order on its own. Although for the price, it may definitely be. The cafe latte is good too. No hint of sourness or anything. I have enjoyed it. What made me most happy is the abundance of vegetarian options and the variety of menu. I feel like this is the kind of menu I would be willing to try one by one. 🥰🥰🥰 I almost gave this shop a 5-star rating if it hasnt been always full - there's always a line outside the whole time and the shop is a bit small. The chicken parmesan is tasty too but at times a bit salty for me (so I can't relate to other people saying that the food here lacks seasoning). I'd say this cafe is definitely a must try, but if I do, I'm afraid there will be longer lines the next time I visit. 😂😂😂

I think the review depends on how much time you spent waiting. If I had waited over 10 or 15 minutes for this place I think my review would be quite different. I entered the shop at 8:00 in the morning on a Sunday morning and hardly any customers were there. By 9:00 it was crazy crowded and there was a long line. Many people made a reservation for tables so if you really want to go and don't want to wait I recommend you make a reservation in advance!!! I have the eggs benedict which is at a reduced price at the moment. The egg yolk part could have been a little bit runnier and the spinach that was cooked was not very flavorful and perhaps unnecessary. I would have preferred to have a fresh salad on the side instead of that sauteed tasteless spinach. The bread was okay but I don't think it's enough food for an average person. The mushroom soup was an additional side order for I think 150yen. Not so bad I guess. The Hollandaise sauce was a bit sour but I'm not too sure if this is normal or not...... I don't have eggs benedict that often. The coffee was very standard. Better than some chain shops cafe lattes. The service was pretty nice and even though it was crowded they were in no rush to push me out. The whole meal cost 1,100 yen. No bargain but also not expensive. If you eat more you should order an additional half size pancake or something else. I like the ambience and would like to come back on a weekday when it's less crowded.

We recently celebrated a special occasion with a delightful late lunch. We opted for the set menu for two, which included a selection of drinks, salad, pizza, pasta, and dessert. To complete for a group of 3, we added a Bismark pizza, cream salmon pasta, eggs Benedict, and a glass of red wine. Every dish was freshly prepared to perfection. The vegetarian salad featured flavorful soy meat. The pizzas were incredibly thin and crispy. We could smell the subtle aroma of truffle. The Bismarck pizza was particularly enticing, with its enticing blend of spices. We added a touch of Tabasco for an extra kick. The pasta dishes were equally impressive. The cream salmon pasta had a fresh and rich flavor, while the eggs Benedict was generously topped with bacon and perfectly cooked eggs. The tiramisu cream was a delightful blend of coffee and cream, and the creative latte art was a beautiful touch. The staff were friendly and accommodating, patiently explaining the set menu in English. While the food and service were exceptional, we did notice a minor issue with the sofa upholstery, which was slightly torn. Overall, our dining experience was fantastic. The delicious food, attentive service, and charming ambiance made it a memorable occasion. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a delightful culinary experience in Jiyogaoka.
