It was a pleasant Saturday, and my husband and I were in the mood for burgers, but not fast food. We wanted something more authentic. I remembered walking past “Louis Hamburger Restaurant” before, and their menu had caught my attention with a wide variety of burgers. After checking online and seeing mostly positive reviews, we decided to give it a try.
We arrived around 1:20pm, and the place was already quite busy. Fortunately, there was an empty table for two by the window, just right for us. The interior had a charming atmosphere with clear influences from Western movies; a film was playing in the background, and there was a small DVD collection on display. We enjoyed the atmosphere.
I ordered the “Cheddar Cheese Burger”, while my husband chose the “Mozzarella Mushroom Cheese Burger”. To our surprise, the food arrived very quickly, within about five minutes. Both burgers were large and served with a side of chips and tomato sauce.
My “Cheddar Cheese Burger” was incredibly juicy and flavourful, with the cheddar adding a rich, satisfying taste. I particularly appreciated how the bottom bun was crispy on the outside, giving it a perfect texture. The ingredients were layered thoughtfully, and the fresh, crunchy lettuce stood out. I genuinely fell in love with this burger.
My husband’s “Mozzarella Mushroom Cheese Burger” was also excellent. The combination of mushrooms and mozzarella worked beautifully together, creating a deep and delicious flavour with every bite.
The tomato sauce served with the chips was not your typical ketchup, it tasted more natural and rich, possibly homemade. Unfortunately, the chips themselves were the only letdown, they lacked crispiness and were a bit soggy, which we didn’t enjoy.
Overall, we had a very satisfying burger lunch here. We really enjoyed the relaxed and cozy atmosphere, and left with happy, full stomachs. We’re already looking forward to coming back to try other burgers, just hope that they will improve their chips...
Read moreTo preface this review. As an American, I have eaten thousands of hamburgers over my lifetime. We walked into hamburger Louis as they were closing on a weekday, and they graciously seated us. What came next was something we still talk about to this day, and even dream about at night. It was far and away the best hamburger I have ever had in my life. The patty, juicy, moist, large. The adornments, crisp and fresh. Cheese was melty and the right kind of American. But the showstopper was the bun. Not only was it the perfect texture and shape, but the placement of the sesame seeds on top could only have been completed by chopsticks. Leave it to the Japanese to prepare the food of my ancestral homeland better than I have ever had it...
Read moreAfter work food and drinks. I found this place a few weeks ago. Located in the outer part of Toyocho. Louis is a new burger restaurant. The shop is new, clean and have amazing customer service. Especially on SNS and communication with their customers. We ordered 3 different burgers. My friend ordered the lemon burger, and his feedback was positive. I ordered the bacon and cheese. The bacon was delicious, smoked and thick. The beef patty was delicious too. As a suggestion, it maybe need some bbq sauce added. The buns were nicely toasted. I wish the potato wedges are hand cut. But , they were delicious, and came with the meal. The ice cream floats were delicious. We had Mountain dew! My favorite! Definitely...
