The tea free concept was wonderful, and I was able to sample many delicious teas during my visit.

I found the flavours so interesting, and all the ones I tried and brought home have been delicious. Even gift recipients have commented on the quality of the tea and fun flavours.

I really enjoyed the scones and hotcakes as well. The salt provided was a very nice touch, and I enjoyed the cream and jam a lot as well.

The hostess is a delight who is all smiles and friendly. Even though she wasn't able to speak English very well, she made a tremendous effort to make conversation with us and was lovely throughout. She served us new tea every time with a very charming smile and introduction to the flavour.

We arrived at the café 30min after opening with no reservations and had no trouble getting a table for 4 on a weekday. The servers were very patient as Japanese is not our first language. We utilized Google translate and had no problems communicating with the staff. The adults opted for the unlimited tea and the kids ordered flavored tea soda. We each had our own serving of the hotcakes, which takes 20min to make once ordered. Fresh tea came out at regular intervals with descriptions of the flavor.
