The place is walkable from Toyocho station. A small place, approx. 16 people in the first floor and few seats in the second floor. Nice ambience. Food: I had a buffet lunch during the golden week (May) holidays which was 1600¥. The price is too much however considering the menu and when compared to the buffet menu offered by similar south Indian restaurants in Tokyo was reasonable. The menu had so many items from Dum chicken Briyani, parotta, kulcha, chicken curry, veg salna, rajma, pakoda, veg. Cutlet, boiled Ponni rice, sambar, rasam, mango pulp, raita, lemon juice. Briyani and chicken curry had good size chicken pieces (adult 2 finger size) which is definitely appreciated. In certain so called South Indian restaurants, we need to search for chicken in curries and Briyani. Even raita was perfect. Service: I’m surprised I was not allotted a table which is usually what is done in Japanese hotels. I was expecting that the shop person will ask me to sit in one of the available seats. He seemed clueless. At least he could have signed me to get seated anywhere I like where only few seats were free. I had to make myself seated in one of the available tables. When I went for the plates and cups, few cups were not clean. It had residue. I had to remove them off and place it off. The shop person was not available when we needed water. Number of customers were less, even that he is not attentive on attending them. At least place water jugs in each table or make him attentive (it’s not an incorrigible mistake).

Food was really good and the service...

After repeated recommendations from known friend tried here. Its ofcourse good for people who want VEG options.

I think its overrated/hiped of taste too. Have been exploring multiple restaurants in weekends in last 2 months, There are better buffet options certainly.

On positive note for today : Chicken curry was delicious. Sweet is good too. Parata with chicken curry was delicious.

Coconut chutney with pongal is bit below normal taste.

Surprise to keep waiting for the only good chicken option: Chicken 65. Its seems good taste but Even they noticed, took long time to refill (kind of 20-30 mins) . Biryani is just normal. Water service is very poor.

overall its just okay experience. maybe not...

I visited this restaurant along with my japanese and foreigner customer and friends recently. Absolutely amazing! The place is nice and stafs sre super friendly! The food especially south indian foods are really tasty for the reasonable price. I recommend all the south indian foods especially biriyani, dosa, parotta and meals etc... Sometimes, they are introducing traditional south indian *Banana leaf * meals, it is really amazing and worth for the cost. My friends are asking me to take to this restaurant again. Yes will go this restaurant soon for a...

The biriyani was presented beautifully. Prepared with Jeera rice, served in a banana leaf, the dish was garnished with fresh coriander leaves, fried onions, and a slice of lemon. The steam rising from the biriyani added a tantalizing aroma that heightened our anticipation. Nila offers a biriyani that is a must-try for any South Indian food enthusiast. With its perfect blend of spices, quality ingredients, and excellent service, it stands out as one of the best biriyanis in Tokyo.
