Pizza Salvatore Cuomo Shirokane — Restaurant in Tokyo

Before the Covid-19 pandemic, this place was our go-to pizza place for either eating at, or for home delivery, however since then... something is a bit different - I think the Genki-ness of the Pizza has just disappeared certainly the Quality isn't as it used to be.

16-Dec I'm dropping 2 stars because their Service has become another Covid "Shi*e" excuse - the Delivery staff weren't really giving any care (over that) and the content of what they delivered was to put it bluntly... Sub-MacDonald's Quality (in pizza terms).... This place will go out of business soon unless they focus upon Quality again. But having visited their place several times to pickup myself (after the delivery issues), I soon realized it wasn't just the delivery staff who'd been changed, but the waitresses and cooks... no recognizable faces... students possibly at best who don't know how to Cook a Pizza... what a disgrace!!!!

I've stopped ordering from them for now - even frozen Supermarket pizza had/is been better than what they provided !! So its my Sad duty to report this fact, as a FACT - having been a regular local Customer for several years. I'm not looking for anything from them, no free pizza (etc), just telling you the FACT as a local... as I have with all my other posts, and I don't claim any prizes from Google for these reviews - doing so is just wrong.

My review here, may seem a bit harsh, but.... its true. I've ordered from them in the past, dined inside at their premises in the past, but now.... they are significantly different....Perhaps if they survive (somehow) I will look again, but for now... their Management gets a

from me. I'd rather defrost and Microwave frozen Pizzas than waste money on what they're providing at present.

In short.. Go elsewhere!

Central Azau-Juban has a Pizza place, I will review them next.... as I have never been there before! (Apparently some former Financial Trader owns the place....)

Update: Sep '21 - Pretty much stand by my above comments still. They've got problems, that...

Good food (entrees recommended too, not only pizza, pasta, meats), but sometimes terrible service..

Sometimes they have quite low quality staff forgetting your orders and thus having you wait (even when with children), especially if it gets busy. Happened twice here, while it never happened at the other branch nearer ShirokaneTakanawa station. Maybe isolated cases, will give them the benefit of the doubt. Still, if above happens, you surely entitled to a discount (I asked and got it) - by the branch's main guy response then, would have preferred he paid out of his pocket, it was borderline...

Ordered Bismarck to try... we received so many ads from Salvatore.... ended up being curious about it... it's not bad but it's not great. Given they have a great oven is hope for better... I think the dough is industrial and not the greatest quality. That's the impression this gives. Staff...
