We just completed a 5 night stay here in their superior twin room. Room size is typical for this range of hotels in Tokyo. With two twin beds and a small seating area, there was very little extra room. With one carry on size suitcase on the ground and one on the provided suitcase stand, shoes needed to be lined up and not placed side to side other wise we could not enter without tripping over. Bedding was top notch, very comfortable. There was roughly 8- 10 inches space between the beds and the same between the end of the bed and the wall. The AC was super strong, and the provided pyjamas were very nice. Towels and pyjamas were changed daily on request, as were slippers. The fridge came in useful for conbini snacks and drinks.Great views of the train tracks and shinkansen lines from the room. Elevators were almost available immediately, anytime. Laundry was easy to do and we used their facilities twice. The washer dryer works very well to do both functions (wash and fully dry clothes). Breakfast was basic but enough choice, same applies to the happy hour. Chilean red and white wines, a sparkling Cava, Scotch and Nikko Gin and some liqueurs. Mixed nuts, small cheese pieces as snacks. The lobby has good seating but wifi is slow when compared to the room. Check in and check out were easy and quick. The JR tamachi station (Yamanote line) is about 6 - 8 min of a walk, and Mita (Tokyo Metro) another 2 min from Tamachi (you cross through the station and go down the stairs). Life supermarket is literally next door to Tamachi station, and OK is next to Mita. There were countless places to eat and drink, and of course numerous stores within 5 min of a walk from here. This is a great place to stay in Tokyo, and some of the aspects of the rooms I have described is to give you an impression of the size - and not a criticism of the hotel itself. I would happily stay here again, as it provides all that was needed for a sightseeing trip, and is nice to return to a quieter location after...
Read moreStayed for 10 nights. We landed on Haneda Airport and took the monorail. The hotel is located at Tamachi, one station away from the monorail's final station, Hamamatsucho. The hotel is a short 3 minutes walk and one traffic light away from Tamachi Station. The reception speaks capable English and although the check-in time is 3 in the afternoon, you are allowed to come and drop-off your luggage first. They also offer transport service of your baggages if requested before hand. Our room is 20 square feet (it's possible to open a 28 inch suitcase fully on the floor, almost as generous as it comes for a hotel in Tokyo!) featuring a queen sized bed and faces the southwest side of the hotel (and apparently you'd have a clear view of Tokyo Tower if you get a room facing the north). The room also features A/C that operates separately. The bathroom is well equipped with washlet, shower curtain, hairdryer, and a tub deep and wide enough to fit in two people at the same time. The housekeepers renew water bottles, toiletries, bath towels, pillows and sleepwears everyday, while full room cleaning happens every three days but can be requested before 11 on the night before. The hotel itself features laundry and smoking room on the fourteenth floor, and currency exchange machine on the first floor for those in need. Breakfast ends at 10 in the morning. The menu stays largely the same, while curry, salad and bread rotates everyday. All in all a very pleasant experience. The front desk is very helpful with any inquiries I have (most convenient ways to Disneyland, Narita Airport etc). On the other hand, do be aware that the information provided on this site did not list all the toiletries and the tools available (which caused us to bring shampoo and bodywash of our own). And although the neighborhood is quite small and quiet, it has everything you need and can be pretty calming after a day full of sightseeing and all...
Read moreThis hotel saved me and my partner from an Airbnb that was not like it's description at all. We had to choose a place quickly and I wasn't able to do much research beforehand. We were on the lowest floor but luckily the sound of the train was hardly noticeable in the evenings. Running the AC (which was a mini split you could fully control!) or the Air filter and humidifier in the room worked well to drown out the tiny bit of noise that would come through. We would occasionally hear people upstairs, but only if they were moving luggage around loudly. There was a bit of a language barrier issue but I know a small amount of Japanese and Google translate helped. The bed was hard but not unbearable. I just slept on top of the comforter. The pillows were decent but I went out to Nitori and bought a hotel style one because I needed more support. It was good overall, not perfect but so much better than what I would have been stuck with. Being close to Tamachi Station and a few grocery stores, restaurants and conbini was great and made the...
