By far the best dosa in town! Mouthwatering authentic South Indian cuisine with hefty portions and reasonable prices.

So I recently stumbled upon this super popular joint right next to the Minami Asagaya station. The hostess is such a sweet lady, the type of person that balances your being with one look. The interior was super interesting portraying vintage fashion photographs on the mail wall, with cosy sitting. The tables by the window can keep you in people watching for hours of the nearby crossing.

But the food… the food has always been exquisite no matter what you order from the menu. I’ve been monopolized by the charms of the Masala Dosa for a long time, I could honestly have this one dish for the rest of my life and when you think it can’t get any better, accompanying curry, chutneys and tiny dessert are being presented in slight variations every week outdoing themselves each time. While it’s not wheelchair accessible due to the construction of the building the service iS always welcoming and homely, which makes lunch break a super energizing wee session. Can’t wait to go back again and...

Nice little 2nd floor place with Japanese staff. They had a more expensive lunch special, perhaps for the holiday, but I went with the regular one-curry set. No spice levels, and the seasoning was to Japanese spiciness. Nice thick curry, tender chicken, and tasty naan, but because of the coconut (which is a long story)... Well, I would have given it the high four stars, but just going with a regular four. Has Wi-Fi too, but you have to ask for the password. As I left I found out that the kitchen staff was Indian and Nepali. Decorations were not Indian but the music was...
