There’s something special about this place that isn’t easy to define. The food and drinks are good and the prices are reasonable, and it’s busy, as expected, particularly in the mornings. And yet, the staff is always friendly, attentive, and efficient.
The tables and chairs aren’t particularly comfortable—mostly high stools at immovable counters or tiny tables—but the atmosphere has a nice vibe. It’s fun to go there and spend time alone or with friends.
Try the “Mouthwatering Chicken” sandwich or the “Double Egg”sandwich with a slightly spicy mustard, and a chocolate croissant. The café au lait is also good.
Coffee is served in several varieties, and all seem to have nice flavor. It’s always fresh and hot! (Oddly, although the large coffee cups are a good size, they only fill the cups about 2/3 to capacity for some reason, which is disappointing.) Be mindful that the milk packets for the coffee are not free.
Coffee is also available in whole beans for home brewing, and the staff will grind and reseal the bag for customers...

Read moreThis is my daily go-to breakfast spot while staying nearby. The coffee (Cafe Au Lait) was good. The coffee is relatively cheap (250 yen) for a regular cup. The sandwiches are quite cheap as well and it is made to order on the spot. I liked the double egg sandwich which consists of two eggs, cabbage and tomatoes, and wasabi mayo sauce. The wasabi mayo was not overpowering and you can taste the greens and eggs altogether.
It is a busy spot where many people will be in the queue especially on a weekday (granted as there are many offices nearby) but the service is fast as the coffee is already pre-made and dispenses from a machine. Wait time is less than 5 mins and the waiters are always so lively and bubbly. A must try if you are near...
