This is a very interesting place to visit for discovering more about everyday use of energy. The museum is quite small (a good thing; sometimes!) and has only 2 floors with an open roof that is entirely covered in green grass. Its really nice to walk on the roof as you can see the beautiful bay and the surroundings. This place is more about showcasing what part different forms of energy play in our lives and realize how much technology & efforts go into making this work. Unfortunately, most information (actually all of it!) is in Japanese. So, if you do not read Japanese, it becomes a bit tricky to figure out some of the demos. At the reception, you can ask for a leaflet in English which helps a bit. The children love this place, because there are so many interesting things and if you let them discover, they will come up with questions which will help them understand & learn important aspects of everyday science that would take hours of boring teaching otherwise! It is free for all, and open everyday...
Read moreExcellent free museum to spend a couple of hours. Kids of all ages will love it as there's something to do for everyone. Mine are 2 and 4 and we've been a few times and still enjoy every visit. Lots of experiments on the first floor, then the most fun is on the 2nd floor with a projector that lets your colourings move (by TeamLab), a game where you have to jump around to kick a ball to colour the field, another interactive drawing station etc. There are also some shows throughout the day. No eateries in the building but there are drinks vending machines downstairs and Lalaport /Toyosu station for...
Read moreWe happened to walk by on our way to TeamLabs and I looked it up and found out it was free admission so we went in to take a look. My boyfriend probably had a better time here than at TeamLabs because it wasn't crowded at the time we went. (4:30pm on a Thursday) The whole staff was friendly, there are interactive exhibits, mostly in Japanese but Google translate worked well. TeamLabs also has a small sketch lab on the 2nd floor, a nice Easter egg. Definitely stop in here if you have kids. We're adults and had learned a lot and had fun. But I think the staff is more geared towards...
