Starbucks Coffee - Oji Station — Restaurant in Tokyo

They called the police on my husband and I. We had a few hours to kill while waiting for check in at our place of staying. I double checked online that you can stay in the cafe for as long as you wanted or needed and it was policy not to kick you out. We ordered Venti coffees and break fast while there, and were quiet and respectful keeping to ourselves the whole time. 20min before we were about to leave they called the police to escort us outside in the rain! Me and my wife were here waiting to move airbnbs for a couple of hours while it was raining. We purchased multiple drinks and food. Then one of the employees randomly called the cops and kicked us out saying if we don’t buy more stuff we can’t leave. It’s clearly in their policy there’s no time limit on how long you can stay there. They ended up kicked us outside in the rain to wait for a taxi. 王子駅前にあるスターバックスですが、駅ビルとは大通りで隔てられており、歩道橋などを利用してアクセスする必要があるため（地下道等はありません）、雨天時等は駅から行くのにやや億劫に感じるかもしれません。 給仕されるドリンクや料理の種類や質、スタッフの接客対応の質は、他のスターバックスと遜色ありません。一方、店としては小規模で席数も多くはなく、ほぼ全ての席の構成は1～2人向けで、大人数での利用には向きません。さらに近隣にカフェがあまり多くないからか、客の利用がこのスターバックスに集中しがちになり、さらに勉強目的での利用客も多く、客の回転はよくありません。加えて店の入り口にやや高めの段差があるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方の利用はお勧めできません。
