We were so lucky to find this absolute gem in the neighbourhood we were staying in. Despite us not speaking Japanese, guests and especially staff were chatting with us, giving recommendations and being just absolutely wonderful. The food was incredibly delicious – definitely try the omakase, sashimi and karaage – and it was so wonderful to be able to watch the chef prepare the dishes. A great find while in Tokyo. We were recommended to it from the Aqua Bar up the street and it did not dissapoint. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. The menu is only in Japanese, but the waitress actually knew pretty good english. Came for dinner without a reservation on a Friday. They were full except the outdoor seating, so we put our number on the list and went to check out the bookstore at the station.
