I am from Texas. I speak no Japanese and found this sweet shop easy to navigate. Everything is labeled in both English and Japanese so with some pointing and smiles, the transaction was smooth. Stepping into Swing By Coffee you are greeted by the wonderful smell of good coffee. The gentlemen who took our order and made our coffees was most helpful and pleasant. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, light and airy. The whole experience was lovely. I enjoyed my cafe au lait a great deal. My son-in-law said his iced cold brew coffee was the best he had ever had and he has tried quiet a few around Tokyo over the last 10 months or so. Every detail of his iced cold brew coffee was attended to even down to the ice cubes being frozen cold brew so that the flavor was not diluted even one little bit. Swing By Coffee is honestly one of my favorite spots in town. The name says it all – you're always welcome to swing by, and trust me, you'll want to. The owner is super friendly, and the prices are really reasonable for the quality you get. The vibe inside is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to chill or get some work done. Oh, and don't even get me started on their little cookies – they’re seriously amazing. I find myself coming here almost every day now....
