By far my favorite authentic pizzeria in Tokyo. The restaurant is cozy, warm and full of laughter and the service and staff are wonderful. Several of the staff also speak English and are more than happy to explain their menu and recommendations for you.
The real star here is the pizza dough and the high quality of it. Very few pizzeria's strike that balance of crispiness and thickness in a Neapolitan pizza, and Da Luigi is incredible. The first time their lemon pizza blew my mind, but recently I've been enjoying their incredible simple pizza's, the Margherita is really beautiful and showcases the quality of their ingredients and the skill involved.

Lunch menu had at least 20 pizzas and dishes to choose from. If youre in the area skip the chain pizza and walk a little more to get here. It gets busy at lunch. And it is not the easiest place to find so imagine how good it must be!!! The one down side is that the menu is handwritten in Japanese. No pictures!!! And a mix of…I know it Italian and it’s in katakana…but I’m still not sure what it says. There is staff that can speak English...
Read moreThis place is awesome!! Decorations looks like Italy. The pizza is huge and it was great. The pasta was also great. The desserts I expected them to be better as the rest of the food was amazing. But still... this is my new favorite Italian in town.
We came for lunch, we did not order the lunch set but a pizza and a pasta. They brought it to share with the pasta already in two plates. We even got a free lentil soup with olive oil and awesome bread.
It was so great we ordered the deserts, pana cotta and baba. Both good.
