A tiny coffee shop in a very quiet area. If you are a tourist, then very likely you are in this area because you are visiting the Gotokuji Temple. I randomly found this shop on Google map and saw that there are photos of dogs so decided to come by.
When I first came in, there really is a dog in the shop. Looks like it is brought by a customer. The owner wasn't good at English but one of the customers speaks fluent English and she suggested me to try their home made cake (and coffee of course). They are pretty good.

Read moreI'm sure there's plenty of these cafes out there in the world, where you can chat up the owner, sit and talk about whatever you want and feel like you're in a little corner just for yourself. Torocco is definitely one of them.
On the topic of the food, the dessert options were great and plentiful, I recommend the brownie. Likewise, the coffee options were solid.
