From the outside, this secret gem of a restaurant looks unassuming. Just a very short cross from Koenji station, the place was easy to find and it had an organised queue system.
We visited today, and once we were let in, the delicious smell of the Monjayaki grilling on the hot plates will take the senses away. We were led to our seats on the second floor with hidden compartments to neatly store our large coats.
The staff was super helpful and helped explain the menu items and the specials to us.
We started with a very delicious omelette.
Throughout the meal, the staff was super attentive, kept helping us (but also managed to keep other tables entertained) and even had a very nice and friendly conversation with us, recommending the best dishes. The quality of the food was also superb.
They are known for their mentaiko monjayaki topped with cheese, which was superb. The grilled oysters were sublime and very juicy and amazingly delicious. I think everything here is delicious. The prices were also very reasonable :)
An overall very amazing experience — would highly recommend this place for the food, the attentive and friendly service and the very cool place.
The music was also very appropriate and...

I could finish don on my own but i guess if you want to try more flavours, can go...
