Uoichi — Restaurant in Tokyo

Very local and casual atmosphere! The small restaurant is full of local people, but all the people, including the owner and customers show warm hospitality even to foreigners.

The seafood is fresh, tasty, and with reasonable price. Maybe you don’t expect fancy food here, but you can sense the caring on the food from the chef, and finish a meal with real satisfaction! Plus the menu is with many options in both raw food and warm food, so you can enjoy the variety of Japanese sushi or small dishes.

Really love this place- authentic food, friendly employees, and warm/honest chef (he even stopped me from ordering too many dishes— and he was right!). it’s one of the best memories...

Really tasty sushi from a place that's so friendly even the other diners greet you as you walk in. There are some interesting dishes on the menu, some of which I was able to sample thanks to the generosity of the couple sitting next to us at the counter, as well as a great sake selection. Went for dinner, went back another day for lunch, would have gone again but didn't quite have time. Edit: Have been returning every time I visit Tokyo and everything I wrote above remains true. I have never felt like any restaurant has taken better care of me. There is nowhere...
