Grungy, hip underground cafe and bar specializing in curry, there’s a unique ambiance curated with vinyl records and Christmas lighting reminiscent of when I’d go to backyard block parties in Brooklyn back in the day. But it’s Japan, so it’s expected of course an ambiance tailored like this would entail a much cleaner atmosphere, expensively priced food & drinks and slightly pretentious service; however the curry sweetened with pineapple was truly a treat. “Coffee and curry” is the official sign, but they do serve good drinks and snack to go with drinks.

I had a Tacos and they served it very well. I had baked curry - yes, “baked” curry…. Obviously it is fusion as it has got pineapple which is also baked. You may be surprised how the baked curry can go together with their “coffee lemon sour” drink (it’s alcohol, just to be precise).

It's a cute café and restaurant. The person who served me (the owner?) was polite and helpful by going off-menu and making me a fairly good soy latte.

The venue is pretty and well decorated and has a casual and friendly vibe about it. The fact that it's a basement induces a slightly claustrophobic feeling, though.
