Small, cozy 8-person bar and burger joint on B1F a few steps away from Nakano Station South. An upscale niche selection of whiskeys and gins, plus general cocktails. Expect a quieter atmosphere with jazz playing in the background, occasionally punctuated with the smells and sounds of grilled meat, bbq, fried potatoes, and toasted buns.
The jalapeno burger has jalapenos with a decent kick. The patties were a little far on the medium side and the quality of the beef (as is standard in Japan) was a little too good for the burger. With a high cook time and low fat%, you get a slightly drier and chewier burger. The decoration is a bit sparse, and would have enjoyed some thousand island, red onion, crispy lettuce, and tomato, but this isn't California. The bun itself was tasty, toasted and held up well. The fries were fine, but I personally prefer a little crispier and with a bright ketchup option. All said though, pretty solid burger!

However service can be slow because she also was the chef, it took 45 minutes to get the food after sitting down and having drinks. Otherwise would come by again to try more drinks.
Tested two peaty whisky’s and one sweeter style. You can get smaller portions of whisky to try...

Maybe this guy was in internship... He should remove "burger" on the name of the shop, whiskey...
